Hi loves!
I wanted to share some photos and some insight we learned from one of our amazing corporate event clients – Teledyne Controls.
500 amazing employees in El Segundo filled the museum venue space across the street from their office and were treated to an UGLY Sweater competition, Christmas music via DJ, catered meals and desserts for all within a 2-hour time frame.
The most important factor about events with a short time frame and a large guest count is to get everyone fed in an orderly fashion but QUICKLY. The secret to this is to have a team in sync, on walkie talkies to be sure that you are covering enough ground to make sure that everyone is being taken care of, and to work with an amazing and experience catering company who deliberately over staffs to ensure that the refills of the buffet are filled quickly so food is always fresh, the buffet is decorated, and the food is being served in correct portions, efficiently. Efficiency is so key.
The centerpieces we used to create a classic Christmas theme, was beautiful mini Christmas trees on each table. We incorporate paper flower poinsettias as stage décor as well. The stage décor was a hit as design was key here as this was the backdrop of the UGLY SWEATER COMPEITION.
The design for each event is important and different – we work with the client to partner to be sure to meet the company’s expectations on theme and we operate with full creative control and intermittently discuss with each client to exceed their expectations.
We hope to work with Teledyne Controls again this year – they were such a lovely and lively bunch! Working with their admin and HR was great – they were very appreciative and communicative the entire time. Stay tuned for the next blog post on this amazing team.
